I am a very timid person. My days could be composed of a lot of fears. Thankfully enough my fears do not overcome me but it makes me feel terrible from within. I am still learning not to fear the world and the war against fear is longer than I thought it would be. I need to know my authority in Christ Jesus. I need to know more of the fear of the Lord so that I can be mightier than the serpent and greater than the lion.
Alonzo Octavias Williams is a choreographer, dancer, poet, educator, and curator of many artistic disciplines. He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a B.A. in Dance and an M.S. in Student Affairs. Williams is also the receiver of an M.F.A. in Dance performance studies from Hollins University.
He teaches and choreographs at local colleges in the South Florida community, including Nova Southeastern University and Broward College, directs dance at West Boca Raton Community High School, and commits himself to outreach and mentorship in South Florida with his creative artistic company.
As a creative director, he aims to incorporate diverse art forms that revolve around the art of dance to create impactful changes.
Williams goal for life itself is to promote community, faith, art, culture, and education by utilizing community outreach through art initiatives and creativity within diversity.
His work focuses on the discourse of and around social justice and stories of inclusion from the perspective of African American and Latinx American communities.
