The Sun

"The snares of death encompassed me; the pangs of Sheol laid hold on me; I suffered distress and anguish. Then I called on the name of the LORD: "O LORD, I pray, deliver my soul!" Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful." Psalm 116:3-5

Today you have woken up and maybe you woke up with a heavy mind and a heart full of sorrow and pain; but remember today is a new day and so there are boundless possibilities for good things to happen but it does not come by looking for something spectacular. It comes in the simple things such as being able to have eyes to see the wonder that is the sun and having the ability to feel it's warmth upon your skin when in your sorrow and pain you felt cold.

"Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling;" Psalm 116:7-8
